How Asthma can occurs

As a Asthmatic patients, sometimes we are confused on what are the actual resigns that we can get the Asthma attack. Some of us think about the foods that we eat might be the reasons, and we also think it comes from the surrounds. In this content, I want to tell you guys about how actually Asthma can occur to someone. Before that, lets watch a video on how an Asthma attack occurs.

Okay. Lest get started with the reasons on how Asthma can occurs.

1) Allergies

What I mean by allergies is includes dust, fur, molds, things that you eat such as shellfish, pollens, and other things.

2) Weather

The examples of weather that can make you have an Asthma attack is such as cold air, dry wind, and even changes in weather or seasons.

3) Exercise

In my previous posts before in personal experience as a Asthmatic patient, I've mention that one of the reasons that I have to avoid is to do an outdoor exercise or activities that makes you breathe faster and harder such as running, playing football and etc. Usually people that had a Asthma does not have the attack before they started the exercise, but after a few minutes, they started to breath harder and end up to have a difficulty in breathing.

4) Emotions

One of the biggest reasons of my you had an Asthma attack is because our emotions. The example of emotions that i mean is like laughing, yells, cries hard, get angry, feels exiting, and even fear. If a person didn't control their emotions and experience this kind of emotions, they will automatically breath faster and will lead to Asthma attack.

5) Irritants in the air

In order to avoid Asthma attack, you must avoid the irritants in the air such as smokes, perfumes, gasoline, household sprays, wood fires, flowers, paint, smells of carpet, and many more.

Get Asthma Attack during playing Baseball

Below is the example of video on playing sports even tough you have Asthma disease. This video is about a boy who get a Asthma Attack during playing Baseball with his friends.

Personal experience as Asthmatic patient

Before I go with the topic more deeply, I want to share with you guys about my experience as a Asthmatic patient.

I have a serious Asthma disease since I was a kid (10 years old) until now (20 years old). At the beginning, the Asthma attack that I've faced is not very serious, but as I'm growing older, the disease become much worse until I have to eat and use tons of medications, if not I will have a difficulty in breathing every day. Below are my experience during 10 years of becoming Asthmatic patient.

1) Admitted twice because of Asthma attack and was infected with lung infection

During 10 years of becoming Asthmatic patient, I was admitted twice because of Asthma and was being warded for many days. The first time is when I was 12 years old and was admitted for two weeks, and the second time is when I was 20 years old which about 8 days. All of it happened because of environment and other factors. Other than that, my lung also was infected because of Asthma. It was very painful for me cause I have to breathe using a tube, take the nabuliser every 4 hours, take my blood twice per day, and the doctors keeps giving me the painful antibiotics.

2) Had to control the emotions for a whole day

Apart from being warded, as a Asthmatic patient also I have to control my emotions every second for a whole day. If i didn't control my emotions, I will easily get the Asthma attack. As a teenager, I felt so depress and sad because I didn't have the chance to enjoy myself like other teenagers. If one of my friend is trying to be funny, I had to control myself so that I didn't laugh. I also can't cry if i have a problems with my friends or my family or else, the Asthma attack will become more much worse.

3) Can't afford to involve in any sports

As we know, people who had Asthma was very afraid of sports, so do I. In the previous year before i had the Asthma disease, I was very active in sports such as swimming, badminton, volley ball and etc, but soon as I got this disease, I can't afford to played it since it will harm my health. Even tough i try to exercise for few minutes, i will easily get the attack.

History of Asthma

As we know, Asthma disease had occur in this world for a long time ago. In fact, there are many theory about where did Asthma disease had been found for the first time.

In this entry, i will share with all of you about the history of Asthma from different country.

1) History of Asthma from Ancient Egypt

In the late of 1870s, the are some evidence that stated asthma had been found in Egypt which contains prescriptions that was written in hieroglyphics. At that time, people treat Asthma disease with Egyptian medical herbals which called as 'The Georg Ebers Papyrus'. The herbal contains 700 remedies which one of the function is to heat a mixture of herbs ob bricks and inhale their fumes.

2) History of Asthma from China

Hundred years ago in China, people who had a Asthma disease will usually get the herbs from other people. The herbs also contains Ephedrine which can help them breath easily.
